Exhibition at the Museu Agbar de les Aigües

One of my picture from the series “Bodyrebuilding” has been shown, together with the other photographer’s winning images, in a collective exhibition during the 1st edition of the FCBarcelona Photo Awards. 30-year-old Pakistani Muhammad Ashfaq caresses a cow in the Antica Fattoria of Giuseppe Petrizzo, where he was hired after completing an internship as part of the RIPARTIRE project, created by the @avsi_foundation. Having fled Pakistan due to extreme poverty, Muhammad is happy to work between the dairy and the livestock at the farm, having already experience in the field. Two of my photos from the project "Not on the same boat", funded by the National Geographic COVID-19 Emergency Fund for Journalists, were selected for "Inside the Curve: Stories from the Pandemic," released by Disney Books. These two pictures taken in Rome were chosen by @insidenatgeo for its "extraordinary collection of stories of the COVID pandemic: from the isolation and devastation of quarantine to the joy of reunion". I am very proud to see my work featured in this incredible book curated by Claudi Carreras and also in the exhibition currently on display at the United Nation headquarter in New York until 2 December 2022.
