A new chapter of my long-term project “Green Gold” realized on assignment in Albania, part of an investigative report on drug trafficking in Europe done together with journalist Jonas Breng, has been published today as cover story in the weekly German magazine Stern. I have photographed seizures and investigative operations carried out by members of the Counter-narcotics Group of GDF in Italy; a drug trafficker and a journalist threatened by cartels in Albania.
